Susceptibility of few promising soybean cultivars to Callosobruchus analis infestation during storage

Studies were undertaken to assess the susceptibility of 11 cultivars of soybean (Glycine max L.) to Callosobruchus analis f. during storage. Results revealed varied response to egg laying and damage. However, varieties recording higher egg laying were also found highly susceptible to insect feeding. Maximum egg laying and damage was observed in SL- 444 followed by , DS-93-Br(07)-2 and PK-1162. However, Hirnso-1578 and DS-1016 emerged least susceptible.
