Reproductive performance of 426 domestic pigeon of Assam was studied by conducting field survey. Records were collected from Kamrup district of lower Brahmaputra valley and Lakhimpur district of upper Brahmaputra valley during premonsoon (March to May) and monsoon (June to September) seasons. The hatchability percentage was relatively higher in monsoon (84.98) than in premonsoon (80.01) season, the overall hatchability being 82.86 percent. The least square average for incubation period, clutch interval and age at first egg wer 19.16+/-0.06, 47.44+/-0.11 and 167.57+/-0.46 days respectively. There was no significant variation between the seasons in respect of the three traits. However, highly significant differences were observed between the two districts.
