Design and analysis when the intercrops are in different classes

This paper introduces new designs using orthogonal arrays (ef. Raghavrao [8]) of strength 3 for conducting intercropping experiments when the intercrops are subdivided into classes (groups) based on agronomic, cultural, plant protection, economic considerations besides the main crop. The analysis of these designs consedering specific effects and competing effects for mainand intercrops is also presented.
