2002
Rajvikraman, R. | Jose, P.A. | Thomas, J. (Tropical Botanic Garden and Research Institute, Thiruvananthapuram (India))
Fragrant showy flowers of lemon vine together with bunches of lemon like yellow fruits make it immense scope in ornamental horticulture, especially for featuring pergolas. The fruit as well as vegetable value of the plant are added attraction for its cultivation in home gardens, orchards and degraded lands. Ability to adapt to new environment and to colonize, 'easy-to-root' nature, etc. make its growth and proliferation easy.
