2000
Deb Choudhury, P.K. | Baruah, D.K. (Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat (India). Dept. of Plant Breeding)
Twenty promising cold-tolerant boro rice genotypes were evaluated in four cold environments under medium land irrigated conditions during boro season of 1998-99. Linear as well as non-linear components of G x E interaction were significant for productive tillers per hill, grains per panicle and spikelet fertility percentage, while only linear component was significant for days to 50 flowering, high dense grain, harvest index and grain yield. Genotypes like BR 5142-1-2-10, SP RLR 75001-68-2-2, Joymati, UPR 103-80-1-2, Tainung Sen Glutinous-2, IR 42, PSB RC-2 and Mahsuri were found promising under peak cold period of the year.
