Survival forage yield evaluation of different genotypes under flooding

Berseem (Trifolium alexandrinunI L.) and shaftal (Trifolium resupinatum L.) genotypes were sown in November 1996 and 1997in flooded (FEY and non-flooded (NFE) environments, to study the flooding tolerance for 21 and 42 days at 116 and 120 days after sowing in the respective years. Only variety Shaftal' was identified which could tolerate flooding stress for more than 40 days.
