Carp Polyculture by farm feed intervention in farmers pond in Odisha

Farmer may not go for costly commercial fish feed for semiintensivecarp culture. Locally available low-cost feed ingredients can also produce good fish feed. Farmers can prepare farm feed for their own fish crop at their farm site. Pellet form of farm feed gives betterfeed performance over mash farm feed. Carp production up to 4tonnes/ ha and net profit of Rupees 2,43,752 is shown by carp growers from 0.66 ha pond in Odisha.
