2013
JAIN, R K | DHINGRA, L D | NAGPAL, S K
The A. mediana of camel was the direct continuation of the A. brachialis after the later gave off the collateral radial artery. It gave rise to the A. radialis in distal one third region of the forearm which bifurcated into the Ramus palmaris medialis and Ramus palmaris lateralis at the level of distal one fourth of the radius. They contributed to the formation of the Arcus palmaris superticialis and Arcus palmaris profundus in addition to the rete carpi dorsale and rete carpi palmare.
