Determination target markets of medicinal plant.

Iran with refer to the various climate conditions and comparatively cheap human force , has suitable condition for produce and expanding exports in medical plants. But there wasn't quite good usage of these conditions, and medical plants didn't get suitable place in Iran exports. In this way because of extra natural advantages in saffron, cumin _ seed, coriander, liquorice-root and fennel exports and being capability, these crops have readiness in more earns in these existing condition. But because of lack of knowing suitable export market and other limitations in target markets we can't export these crops to those markets. The purpose of this research is to survey the target market exports in cumin-seed, saffron, coriander, liquorice-root and fennel. The requirement information was gathered by universal business development organization and worldly data bank too. And imports average indicators, increasing imports, pure imports, import share, per income, geographical distances, membership in universal business and calculating imports average for these crops imports was done . Then these rivals indicators and the prior countries ( for export to them) was introduced with refer to rivals indicators average. This research results shows that the first target market for medical plant are these countries; Belgium, America, Ireland, France and Austria for cumin-seed. Malaysia, Slovakia, Norway, Indonesia, Arabia, Denmark and Fenland for coriander, Norway, Denmark, Ireland, Belgium, Austria, Greek, Hong-Kong and Oman for saffron. India, America, Denmark, Lebanon, Mexico city and Greek for fennel. And for liquoriceroot the first countries for export as a target market are South Korea, America, Japan, Singapore, France, Israel, England, Germany, Belgium, Ireland and Switzlight. The other results for this research that can be refer are the exports crops, such as saffron and coriander from Iran to some countries which they aren't the last consumers and they act as an intermediary , and they export that crop to other countries. These intermediary countries for coriander are Ukraine and England, and for saffron Spanish. Italy, France and Switzlight , which Iran by true planning can export its crops to the final customers. By the way from point of view, export prices in medical plant among other exporters Iran's place is as fallow; in cumin-seed 31st,in coriander 36th ( the lowest ) in saffron the first ( upper ) in fennel 29th ( one to the end ) and in liquoriceroot the export price of other exporters was several time more than Iran too. The most important competitors for Iran was as bellow in export of medical plant crops; In cumin-seed ; Japan, south Korea, Germany, Belgium. In coriander; Bulgaria, India, Canada and Singapore. In saffron; Spain, Greek, France and china. In fennel; Turkey, China, surya and Singapore. In liquorice-root; China, Germany, Azerbaijan and Italy Thyme and bay leaves, fennel.
