Cross breeding effects on carcass performances of four Iranian pigeon breeds

١٩٢ adult male and female pigeons were use in ٤ treatments (with local names : Parvazi, Teezpar , Kabood and Namebar ). Any treatmeant had ٤ replications and all of the birds were randomly placed in single cages with use of speciale map and table of cross breeding. (Each cage had ٢ adult birds, male and female as replication). The squabs were separated from the parents in ٣٠ days old , weighted after ١٢ hours of hunger and slaughtered immediately. Their diet was; plated grains with ٪١٨ of protein and ٣٩٨٧ cal/gr of energy. Feeding was ad libitum. The datum of carcass analysis including: live weight, carcass weight and sections of breast, neck and back, wings and legs were measured.The datum were analised with statical programs "spss" and "sas".
