In order to select superior salinity tolerance lines for participating in advanced barley trial in next year, 110 barley lines and varieties were evaluated in observation nursery during cropping season of 2006-2007 in 3 stations, including yazd , Esfahan, Birjand and Gonnabad. They had different EC of soil and water( 8-10mmlcm) . some traits including : day to anthesis , resistance to faliar diseases ( Powdery mildew and helminthosporium) , percentage of lodging, plant height, days to maturity and grain yield were recorded . In overall, based on grain yield average and rest of recorded traits, in 3 stations yazd , Esfahan and Birjand 36 genotypes were selected to participate in advanced barley trial in next year.
