In order to evaluate and determine resistance rates of different corn genotypes to fusarium ear rot, 25 late and medium maturity hybrids and inbred lines in 2011 and 27 late and medium maturity hybrids and 14 inbred lines in 2012 were planted in Qarakhyle agricultural research station. Each line and hybrid were planted separately . For each experiment a randomized complete block design with three replications was used . Plant ears were inoculated by Nail Punch method at 10 th days after anthesis . When disease symptom were observed , evaluation of each line and genotype were done based on percentage and severity of disease symptom . The result in 2011showed that 17 hybrids were tolerant . Hybrids of K3640/5 X K18, K3544/3 X K18 and KLM78018/6-1-1-1-3-3 X MO17were resistant . Pure lines of K18 was resistant . One lines was tolerant and two lines were sensitive. The result in 2012,showed that two hybrids of K3640/5 X K18 and KLM77021/4-1-2-1-2-4-1XA679 were resistant ,five hybrids were sensitive. Pure lines of K47/2-2-1-3-3-1-1-1, K3547/3 and K19 were resistant . Four lines were sensitive. Key words : Artificial inoculation , corn , ear and Fusarium.
