Experiment on the "evaluation of different exotic cultivars of cucumber (Cucumis sativus L.) under the agroclimatic conditions of Swat" was conducted at Agricultural Research Station (North), Mingora, Swat, during the year 2000. Among the five cucumber cultivars i.e., CRO-100, CRO-200, CRO-600, CRO-700 and CRO-1000 tested, CRO-1000 was found to be superior to other cultivars with regard to develop maximum number of branches (4.33), more fruit per plant (12.45), better fruit size (391.2 cm-3), better average fruit weight (243.30g) and better average yield per hectare (22.14 tons).
