Qualitative and quantitative zooplankton sampling was carried out every month from June, 1998 to May 1999 at five stations in Manchar Lake. A total of fifteen rotifer species were identified. Six species belonging to genus Brachionus were B. quadridentatus, B. calyciflorus, B. caudatus, B. plicatilis and B. falcatus. The others were Keratella tropica, Euchlanis sp. Lecane inopinata, Monostyla pygmaea, M. quadridentata, M. bulla, M. furcata, Cephalodella sp. Asplanchna sp. and Filinia longiseta. Brachionus was present throughout the year with a peak in May. Among the five stations, rotifer densities were usually high at station 1 near Danister Canal and St. 3 near Main Nara Valley Drain. All the species, which occurred in Manchar lake, are considered as new record for Pakistan.
