Present studies were envisaged to determine the effect of inflorescence pattern on thefruit quality of Satsumas mandarin grafted on Troyer Citrange (TR), Sour Orange (SO) andTrifoliate Orange (TF) in the orchard of the Department of Horticulture, Ege University, IzmirTurkey. Physical fruit quality characteristics such as fruit weight, diameter and height offruits developed from leafy inflorescence were significantly higher as compared with leaflessfruits. Fruit peel color (L, a, b and a/b ratio), specific gravity and electrical conductivitypercentage (EC%) was significantly higher in leafless fruits than leafy fruits but peelthickness and peel thickness index were higher for leafy fruits than that of leafless ones.Fruit internal quality parameters such as fruit juice percentage and vitamin C contents weresignificantly higher in leafless fruits as compared with leafy ones.
