Taxonomic morphology of Sergentomyia (Sergentomyia) theodoripashtunica artemiev (1974) (Diptera, Psychodidae) from Pakistan

During entomological surveys conducted in the whole ofBalochistan Province Sergentomyia (Sergentomyia) theodoripashtunica Artemiev (1974) was collected (N=158) from 13 localities.These localities appear to be the new record of this species in theliterature to date. Taxonomic morphology previously not described byearlier workers are also described, measured and illustrated in thepresent study. Results of Balochistan specimens are compared withthe published data available in the existing literature from otherterritories. Differential diagnosis of this species is also given.
