The Quaid-i-Azam is generally projected only as a statesman withkeen political acumen, who created an independent stag for the Muslimsdespite the Hindus and British opposition. The image of the Quaid-i-Azam has for long overshadowed his serious concern for the socio-economic up lift of the people of the sub continent in general, and ofMuslims in particular. However, over the past tow decades, a number ofauthors have under taken to project this aspect of his personality ingreater detail. This paper reviews the work of these writers tohighlight the Quaid-i-Azam's economic vision and his serious concernfor the economic and social uplift of the musses.
