New record of alternate hosts of root knot nematodes in Pakistan

During the Survey in 2005 for the plant parasitic nematodes in the Punjab Province three new hosts (Alternate) of root knot nematode were recorded. Galling on the roots of Garden Spurge `Hazardani' (Euphorbia granulata), Bitter weed `Dariyaii Booty' (Conyza stricta) and Common Purslane `lonak' (Portulaca oleracea) was found due to infestation of root knot nematodes.
