Forty cultivars (varieties/lines/clones) of potato were screened under field conditions to identify resistance against Potato leaf roll virus (PLRV). Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) was the criterion to confirm virus infection. Area under disease progress curve (AUDPC) was calculated to quantify the disease resistance. Seven varieties/lines Astrix, Mirrato, Oceania, Orla, Hennes, Safreen and 396266-33 were found to be highly resistant. Four entries FD 7-2, 394021-120, FD 48-4 and FD 49-62 appeared to be resistant. The remaining 19 varieties/lines/clones showed varying degree of susceptibility to PLRV.
