New equidae remains from Dhok Pathan formation of Siwaliks, Pakistan

New remains of Sivalhippus have been identified, described and discussed in this article. The specimens were collected from the Late Miocene-Early Pliocene sites of the Dhok Pathan type locality in the Chakwal district, Punjab province, Pakistan. The material represents the hipparionine species Sivalhippus theobaldi and contributes knowledge about the Late Miocene-Early Pliocene hipparionine horses of the Siwalik continental deposits.
