The purpose of this research work was to develop the web based attendance information system of the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. This system will have a central database for its all departments. The system will be able to solve the problem of existing attendance system which was difficult to manage and maintain all information of students and faculty members. The developed system considers to improves the reliability and efficiency of the university and fulfill the requirements of all members of the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. Students can check their attendance and their related information. The proposed system is easy to use, manage and more convenient for students to be aware with their academic performance. It provides many facilities related to students to take some important decision about their classes and exams. This system· is able to review the attendance based information easily. The SQL Server was used as a database backend database and NET as frontend for programming user applications.
