Studies showed that 3 days old carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) larvae contain enterocytes able to absorb protein macromolecules. In trout (Salmo gairdneri Rich.) individuals, 10-17 cm in length, the absorption of protein macromolecules takes place all along the posterior intestine up to the anus
