Despite the already discussed difficulties, the expansion of computers will lead to the situation in which agriculture will become an area of their wide application. The process is unavoidable. The use of computers in farm management creates a great opportunity for Polish agriculture and that is why this issue should also be of interest to scientists. The practical application requires two systems to be created: one expert system located on a farm and another one that would not have any particular location and that would have access to the whole of the up-to-date knowledge of different areas of production
