Oncogenic herpes viruses are the agents of Marek's disease (MD) in chicken. This disease is registered in Lithuania. Colibacteriosis occur in chicken aged 1-90 days. In the first days of life chicken are especially sensitive to this disease and the mortality may sometimes reach 100%. We have investigated the effects of Linco-spectin on Marek's vaccine in vitro. It has been determined that Linco-spectin produces no adverse effect on vaccine virus. Investigations of the efficacy of Linco-spectin administration in combination with Marek's Rispens vaccine in vivo revealed that in the first 10 days of life the mortality among chicken was by 0.5% lower than in the control group. At the end of experiment there occured no manifestations of Marek's disease in both groups.
