Susceptibility of Corymbia citriodora subsp. variegata, eucalyptus cloeziana and E. grandis to the cut-stump application of glyphosate following pre-commercial thinning operations in North-Eastern Australia
2003
Dickinson, Geoffrey R. | Huth, John R.
A study was conducted on the susceptibility of eucalyptus plants to the cut-stump application of glyphosate following pre-commercial thinning operations. The selection of trees for thinning was primarily based on tree size and straightness. The results showed that the treatment of cut-stumps with herbicides resulted in substantial damage to the retained stems.
