Report presented to the CGIAR Mid Term Meeting in May 1999 by Pedro Sanchez, Chair of the Center Directors Committee (CDC). The report described CDC activities since ICW 1998. It raised issues for the Group's attention concerning the renegotiation of the International Undertaking on Genetic Resources, funding of systemwide initiatives, distribution of World Bank funds to centers, the roles of MTPs and EPMRs, donor restrictions on funding, and indirect cost recovery.
