Study on the effects of salinity and pH on the mortality rate of oyster (Crassostrea sp.) by static bioassay was undertaken and analysed for median lethal concentration (LC50) and median lethal time (LT50). The 96-hour and 7-day LC50 and 96-hour and 7-day LC90 affected by salinities were 5.10, 1.05, 9.00 and 7.80 ppt, respectively. The interaction between pH and salinity was examined; higher mortalities occurred at low pH and low salinities; and high pH and high salinities.
