Cerataphis palmae Ghesquire passes through three nymphal instars before reaching maturity, with mean duration of 1.516 plus or minus 0.101, 3.606 plus or minus 0.167, and 3.312 plus or minus 0.178 days, respectively, for the first, second and third instars. Pre parturition period ranged from zero to 4 days (X=1.432 plus or minus 0.17 days). One apterous female laid from 24 to 91 youngs (X=54.281 plus or minus 5.839) throughout a mean reproductive (X=1.432 plus or minus 17 days). One apterous female laid from 24 to 91 youngs period of 23 plus or minus 1.507 days. On the average, longevity was 42.16 plus or minus 5.25 days. The aphid was found associated with ants, scale insects, mealybug, and other aphid species. Ischiodon escutellaris (Syrphidae, Diptera), Menochilus sexmaculatus and Scymus sp. (Coccinellidae, Coleoptera), Eumicromus sauteri (Hemerobiidae; Neuroptera) and two unidentified species of spiders preyed on the aphid.
