The turbidity maximum in the northern part of Ho Bugt [Wadden sea, Denmark, distribution of suspended sediment, estuarine circulation].

Pejrup M.

Ho Bugt contains in its northernmost part a turbidity maximum. Its extension, textural composition, and concentration levels have been investigated and the share of fluvial-suspended material estimated. Finally, the different concentration processes are discussed, and it is suggested which of them are th most active in the maintenance of the turbidity maximum.
