Soybeans is one of the most concentrated natural sources of protein and is the only vegetable which gives sufficient protein comparable to all forms of animal meat. It has multiple uses such as soyfood, animal feed, industrial raw material, fertilizer and medicine. This crop at present is one of the agricultural thrusts of the Philippine government because of its nutritional value and various uses. This study discusses the marketing aspects as well as the agricultural, technical and financial aspects of soybean industry and feasibility of a soybean plantation in the country.
