Propagation of quince S1 (Cydonia oblonga Mill.) in vitro.
1988
Orlkowska T.
Winter hardy clone S1 of quince was propagated in vitro. The best medium for proliferation was MS supplemented with 45 g/l sucrose and 1 mg/l BAP. On this medium, vitrification and chlorosis was limited. Rooting of shoots on WPM medium with 1 mg/l IBA was improved by 5-day dark treatment and L-proline addition.
