DEUTSCH: Seit 1993 gibt es wieder EDS 76 (Egg drop-Syndrom) bei braunschaligen und weissschaligen Legern. Vor 10 Jahren wurde das EDS 76-Virus durch Schutzimpfungen aus allen Deutschen Herden getilgt. Eine Erklaerung fuer die Wiederkehr gibt es bis jetzt nicht. Auf die Krankheitssymptome (10-60%iger Leistungsabfall, kleinere bzw. schalenlose Eier, braunschalige Eier auch gepunktet, gestreift und oft sehr hellfarbig), die Ursachen (Adenovirus, infizierte Wasser- und Wildvoegel) und die Krankheitsbekaempfung (Schutzimpfung) wird naeher eingegangen.
