The most suitable method of fertilizer placement for peanuts grown in dry season was evaluated. Split plot design consisted of two main plots (broadcast and band) and three subplots (fertilizer rates) was employed. The peanut variety used was Tainan 9 sowed at the spacing of 50 x 20 cm. two plant per hill. Band application before planting produced higher seed yield but no difference in pod per hill. Fertilizer rate increased number of pod per hill. There was no significant different interaction between method of placement and fertilizer rate.
