The paper briefly reviews the occurrence of diseases of rapeseed and mustard in India. Considering the economic importance of some diseases, control of these with special reference to an integrated approach is discussed. Attention has also been further focused for improvement of screening for resistance to diseases and devising chemical and cultural control methods keeping in view their practicability on farmer's field.
