ITALIANO: Durante le sue missioni in Somalia, l'autore ha avuto la possibilita di verificare il comportamento mutualistico tra i pescatori del basso corso dello Scebeli ed il Marabu (Leptopidos crumeniferus, Lesson) durante il "Gilal". Vengono segnalati anche alcuni pesci della zona.

English. The author describes the mutal relationship between the fisherman and the maribou in the time of Gilal, in the lower part of the Scebeli river in Somalia. Consideration is also given by the author to some fishes of that part of the river.
