Study was conducted in order to understand the effects of natural food organisms, artificial feeds, and combination of both feeds on the survival and growth of seabass larvae. Study was conducted in 2 stages. Stage-1, 1-8 day old larvae was fed with rotifer, artificial feed and the combination. Stage-2, 15-24 day old larvae was fed with nauplii percent Artemia, artificial feed and the combination. The results showed that 1-8 day old larvae fed with combination of 2 ind. rotifer/ml and artificial feed obtained highest survival rate of 86 percent followed by those fed with rotifers alone. The average total lengths of those fed with combination of rotifers and artificial feeds, and rotifers alone were 3.49 and 3.51 mm, respectively. Larvae of 15-24 day old fed with combination of artificial feed and Artemia nauplii, and Artemia nauplii alone did not show significant difference. The survival rate of both treatments was 53 percent. Larvae fed with artificial feed alone showed lowest survival rate of 29 percent. Larvae fed with Artemia nauplii alone showed the highest growth. The total length was 6.01 mm.
