Four hundred and fourteen plants from the municipality of Bogor were tested for alkaloid, cyanide and oxalat content. Results showed that 33% of the plants were alkaloid positive. Poisoning of sheep and cattle occurs in the municipality of Bogor but its frequency is very rare, because most of the sheep and cattle graze on mixed pasture. The details of the different alkaloids which were found will be reported later.
