DEUTSCH: Der erste Teil zum Thema regionale Ungleichheiten der Lebensverhaeltnisse ist eine Bestandsaufnahme, die kritisch etwaige Stadt-Land, Nord-Sued bzw. Ost-West-Gefaelle ueberprueft. Der inhaltliche Schwerpunkt liegt auf den weitgefassten, "demographischen", einkommensmaessigen und ausgewaehlten sozialen Grundbefindlichkeiten menschlichen Daseins im frueheren Bundesgebiet. Diese unterscheiden sich in raeumlicher Hinsicht von Kreis zu Kreis teilweise erheblich. Grundlage bildet eine flaechendeckende quantitative Analyse des Lohn- und Wohnwertes in den Regionen der "alten" Bundeslaender. Kapitel 1 bildet die Bevoelkerungsverteilung und -entwicklung im Bundesgebiet, Kapitel 2 die Einkommenslage und -entwicklung in Stadt und Land.
