The purpose of this study was to find out the present child welfare state of poor families in rural and urban areas and to provide welfare model in Korea [R.]. In addition to documentary analysis, a field survey was made using the questionnaire as well as interviewing about 52 heads of households in Wonju city, Korea [R.].
