The work presents the results of a comparative cytoembryological study on two wild (Glycine soja Siebold et Zucc., G. tabacina and cultivated Glycine max species of soybean. Successive stages of microsporo-, microgameto-, macrosporo-, macrogametogenesis, as well as processes of fertilization, embryo- and endospermogenesis were studied in detail and common traits and distinctive pecularities were established for the above taxons. The process of the differentiation of generative organs and their structural elements at various developmental stages was described for the conditions of Moldova. The rate and dynamic of seasonal flowering, as well as flower morphogenesis were established in three cultivars (Scinteia, Bucuria, Beltskaya 25) and two wild species of soybean. Qualitative and quantitative indices of pollen were estimated. Biometrical measurements of embryo sac and another elements were made at various development stages. The principle of the zonal histogenic structure identity is observed during the differentiation of generative structures; whereas that of the reduction and heterobathmy is characteristic of the mature male and female gametophytic stage in gametogamic and postgamic precesses.
