Galasowkowate (Cynipidae Hym.) jako szkodniki debu (Quercus sp.).
1982
Madziara Borusiewicz K.
Author describes the observed increase in numbers of certain Cynipidae species destroying buds of oak (Andricus lignicola Htg., A. solitarius Fousc., A. fecundatrix Htg.) in forests situated within the range of the impact of industrial emissions. She gives also information about the intensified occurrence of Cynips quercusfolii L., Andricus inflator Htg., and A. testaceipes Htg. (A. quercusradicis Fabr.) in these areas. The formation of excrescences (galls), particularly on young oaks, hinders their growth and deforms their habit. These phenomena are particularly dangerous in relation to oak, the genus resistant against industrial pollution according to recent observations, in areas designed for the restructuring of forest stands in regions of severe impact of products of industial exhalation.
