It was found that in the years of high precipitations and severe outbreak of the diseases both commercial and home made mixtures were more effective in disease control than the systemic fungicides applied alone. Lowering the concentration of fenarimol and nuarimol in the mixtures did not lower significantly their effectiveness in the control of apple powdery mildew.
