Soils of Metohija's district (Serbia, Yugoslavia) are situated on inclinations between 30 degrees (or 5), for that they are subject to water erosion. Because nonadequate utilization and nonapplication of technical and hydrotechnical measures, many of this soils which have been utilized under agricultural plants (cereals, corn, potato, etc.), today give us nonadequate yields. If we want to conserve these lands, it's indispensable to apply agrotechnical measures which include application of grass and grass-leguminous mixtures. Only these measures can prove disappearance any form of erosion on this land.
