La legislazione italiana e i problemi di quarantena delle piante relativi agli insetti infestanti.

English. Harmful insects whose introduction is to be avoided in Italy are reviewed; they are all mentioned in the Italian law introduced in 1980, following EEC directives. The different species are grouped according to the different parts of the plants (timber, living plants, fruits, seeds, tubers and bulbs) that they usually damage, or the particular environment in which they live (soil). The present diffusion in the world of every species and their common American names are summed up in a table following the order listed above. The problem of means of transport is then examined and suggestions are made to avoid the introduction of new insect pests in our country.
Show more [+] Less [-]ITALIANO: Vengono passati in rassegna e illustrati gli Insetti nocivi di temuta importazione menzionati dalla vigente legislazione italiana (1980) che segue le linee generali della direttiva CEE. Le specie sono riportate non seguendo l'ordine sistematico dei gruppi di appartenenza ma secondo il tipo o le parti di pianta (legname, piante verdi, frutti, bulbi e semi) su cui di norma provocano i maggiori danni oppure tenendo conto del particolare ambiente in cui vivono (terreno). Tale ordine appare in una tabella riassuntiva che fornisce anche il nome comune americano di ciascuna specie e la sua attuale diffusione nel mondo. Viene da ultimo esaminato il problema dei mezzi di traspsorto, a riguardo del quale sono forniti alcuni suggerimenti atti a ridurre i pericoli del'introduzione nel nostro Paese di nuovi insetti dannosi.
