ITALIANO: I boschi e le macchie della tenuta di Albarese costituirono sempre una importantissima fonte di reddito, almeno fino a quando fu attivo il mercato del carbone di legna. Da cio' vaste e regolari utilizzazioni che pero', con un eccesivo e pressante pascolo di animali domestici e selvatici, finirono coll'impoverire floristicamente i soprassuoli, mentre taluni di essi si ridussero a gariche di ginepri e cisti. La bonifica del piano ha provocato l'eliminazione di molte superfici a bosco e la scomparsa delle formazioni a sughera e di tutte le zone umide costituite dal padule e dalle "piscine" minori. Dall'altro lato si e' estesa, naturalmente ed artificialmente, la pineta domestica che ha conquistato tutto il tombolo marino.
Show more [+] Less [-]English. The woods and spots of the Alberese estate have always been a very important source of income, at least as long the charcoal market lasted. This explains their vast and regular use which, however, due the excessive and pressing grazing of domestic animals, resulted in floral degradation of the top soils, while some of them were reduced to juniper and cyst bushes. The reclamation of the plane has caused the elimination of a large surface of wooded grounds and the disappearance of cork oak woods, as well as the humid areas composed of swamps and minor "pools". On the other hand, the domestic pine woods have naturally and artificially extended over the entire marine sand-dune.
