English. As far as we know, in Umbria there are the following Orobanche spp.: O. ramosa L. and the O. crenata Forsk. The first one lives on tobacco and the second one on peas, beans and clover. They both damage, in different measure, the agriculture. O. Hederae Duby infests ivy and aralia. It is known that other plants can be damaged by the aforesaid Orobanche spp. The third pest, not so much spread and consequently not so well-known, has been the object of particular attention.
