ITALIANO: Il terreno interno ad una serra con copertura in semplice strato di PVC e' stato suddiviso in due riquadri, pacciamati rispettivamente con film di PVC e di PE, rilevando le temperature a diverse profondita'. I livelli termici massimi raggiunti sono stati sotto entrambi i film pari a circa 66 gradi C, 50 gradi C e 40 gradi C rispettivamente alle profondita' di 5, 20 e 50 cm. La sperimentazione e' stata completata con prove di carattere patologico che hanno messo in evidenza una completa mortalita' dei microrganismi patogeni posti nel terreno sotto entrambe le pacciamature sino alla profondita' di 20 cm, in virtu' del solo trattamento termico, senza utilizzo di prodotti chimici.
Show more [+] Less [-]English. The soil of a PVC simple sheet covered greenhouse was split up into two zones, mulched with PE and PVC films, and temperatures at different depths were taken. Maximum thermal levels reached under both films were 66 deg C and 40 deg C for the depths of 5, 20 and 50 cm respectively. The experiments were completed by means of pathological tests, showing a whole eradication of pathogens incorporated in the soil, under both the mulching films, to a 20 cm depth, obtained with the only thermal treatment, without using chemicals.
