The article presents Rhododendron ferrugineum L., Rhododendron catawbiense Michx introduced on the Absheron peninsula and analyzes the changes occurring in the seasonal rhythm of species development. The growth and development of species of the genus Rhododendron L. were studied in the conditions of Absheron at an air temperature above +10ºС. It has been established that under the conditions of Absheron these plants can complete their development rhythms and it is advisable to use them in gardening.
