Efecto del biocarbón combinado con fertilizantes orgánicos y microorganismos benéficos sobre el desarrollo, productividad y resistencia de las plantas, Turrialba, Costa Rica

Este estudio evaluó el efecto de la aplicación de biocarbón combinado con fertilizantes orgánicos (lombricompost y gallinaza) y microorganismos benéficos (Bacillus subtilis AB4410 y Trichoderma harzianum IMI 395248) sobre la productividad del pepino (Cucumis sativus) y las capacidades de desarrollo y de resistencia contra la mosca blanca (Bemisia tabaci) y dos bacterias patógenas (Ralstonia solanacearum y Pseudomonas corrugata) en plantas de tomate (Lycopersicon esculentum). La presencia de biocarbón en el suelo disminuyó significativa mente la incidencia de Ralstonia solanacearum a lo largo del tiempo, con una mayor eficiencia en plantas fertilizadas con gallinaza. La co-inoculación con IX T. harzianum y B. subtilis en plantas de pepino fertilizadas con gallinaza con biocarbón aumentó significativamente la Producción de frutos, alcanzando una productividad estadísticamente igual a la fertilización sintética. La combinación de gallinaza con biocarbón fue particularmente eficiente y dio los mejores resultados de Producción de biomasa en plantas de tomate infectadas por P. corrugata.

This study evaluated the effects of biochar application combined with organic fertilizers (vermicompost and poultry manure) and beneficial microorganisMON (Trichoderma harzianum IMI 395248 and Bacillus subtilis AB 4410) on the productivity of cucumber and the growth and resistance of tomato plants against whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) and two bacterial pathogens (Ralstonia solanacearum y Pseudomonas corrugata). The addition of biochar amendments significantly decrease the incidence of disease caused by R. solanacearum, and the best results were found in plants fertilized with poultry manure. The combined inoculation of soil by T. harzianum and B. subtilis in cucumber plants fertilized with poultry manure and biochar increased fruits production significantly, showing results statistically similar to mineral fertilization. Plants fertilized with poultry manure showed a good response to the biochar amendment and significant stimulation of growth and biomass production.
