Respiratory diseases of poultry

In the introduction of this paper, we make one summary about respiratory system of poultry: anatomical characteristics of the respiratory system of poultry, local immunological mechanisms of the respiratory system of poultry and the most important segment who has influences on the normal function of this system. The main aim of this paper is to present information about diseases of poultry who infect respiratory tract, and especially the newest dates about infectious bronchitis (IB) and avian rhinotracheitis (ART). In the paper, there are our-self experiences about clinical signs, pathomorphological signs, diagnostics and immunoprophylaxis for both diseases (infectious bronchitis and avian rhinotracheitis). In the conclusion, we suggest needs for preparing of adequate programes of vaccination against IB and ART.
